More than 220 artists have been hard at work over these past few months creating their entries for the Pet Portrait Challenge and now we can present to you the top winners. Sadly, during this event, my own dog Nikko died. (the Pomeranian seen in the promotional for this contest.) He was my first dog and lived a long 16 years. I was so honored to have so many create him in the December Art Challenge. Rene Peltz even sent me her original drawing of him with a note stating that he belonged with his mommy. I have no shame to say that brought me to tears!
