We would love to have you as a guest instructor for our 2023 Workshop Series!

We are inviting 12 colored pencil instructors to create a simple step-by-step for beginner artists, one for each month in 2023 in a mini-workshop series. We believe that this will help grow this medium and help you find new students/followers. With your guidance, more colored pencil artists can find a mentor and advance their art skills!

WHAT WE PROVIDE –

As a thank you for all your hard work, we will send you a payment of $100, via PayPal on the first of the month that your issue is published. We will provide the copy editing and will email you a proof before printing. You will also receive a free digital, and exclusive discount to purchase additional print copies. Best of all, we will promote your article on our social media platforms, website, and in our newsletter.

NOTE – You are free to further monetize the work that you do for this workshop in whatever way works best for your business, we just ask that you wait one month after publication and that you DO NOT re-publish in any competing art publication.

WHAT WE REQUIRE – IMPORTANT READ

•  Single-Subject Workshop Choose a simple subject with little or no background. Please look at the Past Workshops and upcoming ones (below) to help you decide on your subject. Must be pre-approved. You can email me for suggestions.

• Photo Reference – a high-resolution image that is copyright-free, and legal to be downloaded and used by our artists.

• Line Art – Must be a clean, black outline of the subject.

• Instructions – Simple, easy-to-understand instructions, for a 4-page article, in 6-8 steps in Word or similar .txt format.

• Images – High-quality images for these steps + final image to print at 8×11″. (JPG at 150 ppi minimum)

• Materials List – please keep it as simple as possible and limit your colored pencil count to 24 or less in ONE brand! List the pencils by name and number.

• Link – One hyperlink to your artist webpage of choice.

• Permission to Print – One form for all content.

• DropBox – Once you are signed up and approved for your workshop, we will share a DropBox link with you to upload all your content.
